Marcella Caprario starter her career as a professional singer. Today, after a multitude of life experiences, she’s a doctoral student in NAU’s linguistics department and is preparing to spend the spring semester in Malaysia to do her dissertation research on a not-well-studied aspect of language with the goal of increasing intercultural communications among people who may not be fluent in the same languages.
