Theatrikos Theatre Company invites actors to audition for its fall production of The Nerd, a hilarious farce by Larry Shue. This comedy follows a young architect whose life is thrown into chaos by a surprise visit from the man who saved his life—an awkward and oblivious houseguest who simply won’t leave.

Auditions will be held at our new rehearsal studio space, 1000 N Humphreys, Suite 220 in Flagstaff on the evenings of Sunday, July 27th, and Monday, July 28th, beginning at 6:30 PM. Actors only need to attend one session. No preparation is required, as auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Please come prepared to share any rehearsal conflicts.

Directed by Nick Rabe, the show runs October 2-19. We are seeking a dynamic ensemble to portray roles including Willum, the kind architect; Tansy, his witty friend; Axel, their cynical critic pal; Rick Steadman, the chaotic “Nerd” at the center of the story; the stuffy Mr. and Mrs. Waldgrave; and their monstrous young son, Thor.
