Winter holiday closures for Coconino County

Coconino County’s Administrative Center, Attorney’s Office, Superior Court and Health and Human Services (CCHHS) office and clinic will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 25 and Thursday, Jan. 1 in observance of Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

On Thursday, Dec. 25, Animal Services will be available for emergency calls only from 7 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Calls will be dispatched through 911. For non-emergency matters please call 928-679-8756 and leave a message and an Animal Services Officer will return your call the next day.

On Thursday, Jan. 1, an Animal Services Officer will be available from 7 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Contact the CCHHS Animal Services office at 928-679-8756 to leave a message and an officer will return the call. Call 911 for emergencies.
Parks and Recreation administration offices will also be closed both days, however County parks and natural areas are open for the public to enjoy. Please observe all posted park rules, and road and trail closure notices.

The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office would like to remind all residents and visitors of the County’s seasonal parking ordinance regarding parking on county roads and rights of way now through April 1, 2026, and wish everyone a safe and enjoyable holiday.
