While many think of Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept. 15 through Oct. 15) as a time to attend cultural celebrations, it is also an important time of year to cover many of the issues that affect the Hispanic community, from education to the environment, from health care to the impact of Hispanic voting on this year’s elections.
