APRIL UPDATE FROM SEDONA ARTS CENTER

Greetings!

We have lots going on (as usual) on campus these days. For those of you who haven’t been here in a while, we moved our offices from the Art Barn to new digs in the Gallery Building in January.

Our featured artists for March/April are Nancy Foo, Lili Anne Laurin and Amy Light. Come check out their work in our Uptown Gallery Shop!

Our 65 Years in Ceramics exhibition opens on Wednesday, April 3 in conjunction with Celebrate Sedona from 4 to 6pm. This is a great show so please take this opportunity to congratulate the participants, see their work, and purchase your favorite piece! Also, there will be an Artist Talk on April 10 with Donna Reitz, Jeff Perkins and Dennis Ott from 5 to 7pm.

Sedona Arts Center is one of Northern Arizona’s most well-established cultural organizations and serves as the creative heart of Sedona. Founded in 1958, the nonprofit organization is based at the Art Barn in Uptown and offers year-round classes, exhibitions, festivals, and cultural events that enhance the creative life of the Verde Valley. The Ceramics Department is headed by Dennis Ott, winner of the 2018 Governor’s Arts Award of Arizona for Arts Education and the City of Sedona Mayor’s Arts Award for Arts Instruction. Dennis teaches workshops and classes for all levels. Neil Kennedy teaches Hand Building Ceramics and Pottery Wheel for Beginners.
