Program Spotlight​​​​​​​

Families seeking affordable options to connect to the internet can now apply to the The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP).

During a presentation at the monthly CCC&Y’s Coconino Prevention Council meeting held on July 6, Andrea Merrihew provided the nearly 40 Zoom participants with information on a program. Merrihew is the division manager at the Coconino County Health & Human Services.

The program, administered through the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), supports eligible households struggling to afford internet service, she said. It is hope the program will help bridge the digital equity divide in our local communities.
