Coconino County Health and Human Services offers COVID-19 recommendations

COCONINO COUNTY — Now that positive COVID-19 cases have been identified in our community, CCHHS recommends people follow CDC recommendations for communities experiencing an increase in community transmission.

Moving forward, individuals experiencing mild respiratory illness, such as a mild fever or cough, are not a high-priority for COVID-19 testing. These individuals should stay at home, monitor symptoms, contact their healthcare provider for medical advice and distance themselves from others as much as possible.  Please see the CDC Guidance, The Ways to manage respiratory symptoms at home, attached.

COVID-19 testing is important for those individuals who are experiencing severe symptoms or difficulty breathing. Individuals experiencing serious symptoms should contact their healthcare provider for medical advice or call the Coconino County COVIC-19 Information Line at 928-679-7300. Anyone experiencing a medical emergency should call 911.
