This year’s annual Stuff the Bus community food drive benefitting The Flagstaff Family Food Center will be held virtually November 16 – November 22 continuing the longstanding partnership between Coconino County, the City of Flagstaff and Mountain Line.

The need for donations is greater than ever due to COVID-19. The Flagstaff Family Food Center estimates that since the beginning of the pandemic, the demand for its hunger relief programs have increased by 80%. The Center feeds 2,000 people a day, 365 days a year.

Most years, community members can contribute food to either the County or City tally, and the two compete. This year, Coconino County and the City of Flagstaff are coming together with Mountain Line to collaborate instead of competing.

The community can ‘shop’ at the campaign website for various food items that The Flagstaff Family Food Center will need to serve the community this holiday season. The campaign will be promoted on social media channels with videos from City and County leadership, and those who donate will be entered to win various raffle prizes including 30-day bus passes, $25 dining gift cards, passes to the Flagstaff Extreme Adventure Course and more.
