Division of Developmental Disabilities Virtual Town Hall Meeting for Spanish Speaking Families: April 28, 2020 from 10am-12pm
The Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) is hosting a Virtual Town Hall for Spanish speaking families on Tuesday, April 28, 2020.
DDD will present details about the initiatives and actions that the Division is taking to support the health and safety of members, families, and the professionals in its system during the COVID-19 pandemic.
La División de Discapacidades del Desarrollo (DDD, por sus siglas en inglés) está organizando reuniones del ayuntamiento virtual para familias que hablan español Martes, el 28 de abril de 2020.
DDD presentará detalles sobre las iniciativas y acciones que la División está tomando para apoyar la salud y la seguridad de los miembros, las familias y los profesionales en su sistema durante la pandemia de COVID-19.

  • At Home with Arizona PBS is a weekly email newsletter designed to bring you the latest information concerning COVID-19 and supply free resources for parents and educators. Arizona PBS aims to help make your time at home more informed, enjoyable and educational.

  • Evolve has created a “COVID-19 At Home Checklist” with different ideas on how to keep your teen (and yourself) healthy during this time. Check it out by clicking the link above.
  • Real Simple Magazine offers 10 Quarantine-Friendly activities that you can do from the comfort of your home that don’t involve watching TV! Click the link above to check out their ideas.
For Adults
  • UNICEF has created an article with tips for parents during this time. You can check out their tips by clicking the link above.
  • The YMCA is offering FREE online Y fitness classes for all ages. You can use YMCA 360 on your cell phone (iOS or Android), computer, laptops. Classes include, Bootcamp, Barre, Yoga, Active Older Adults, Youth Sports Performance, and more!
  • Are you someone who watches the NFL or checks in our your team? Then this is for you! The NFL Game Pass is offering FREE access to past NFL games from 2009-2019 and NFL Original Shows. Complimentary access is available until 5/31/20.
  • Creative Live is offering FREE heath and wellness classes to stream online. They have everything from meditation, stress management, yoga and strength building!
For Everyone
  • KidsOutAndAbout.com has created a GIANT master guide of quarantine friendly activities for you and your families to do from the comfort of your home. COVID-19 Facebook Live Updates Moved to 4pm
Did you know that Coconino County is going live during weekdays (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays) at 4:00 pm on Facebook Live to keep you informed about COVID-19?
Make sure to tune in at 4:00 pm M/W/F to get an update from the County about COVID-19. All past updates are archived on the County’s Facebook page, so if you can’t make it be sure to watch at a later time.

Don’t forget to fill out the 2020 Census!
By filling out the census, you are ensuring that our community is counted and can receive the necessary resources we need to keep our community safe, healthy, and thriving!
Other important things to keep in mind:
  • Count everyone who is living in your house on 04/01/20 on your census form
  • The census DOES NOT ask about citizenship
  • All information collected is required BY LAW to be kept confidential
  • Make sure to include children and babies when filling out your census
  • EVERYONE COUNTS!
