Movie Tuesday: Loving Vincent. October 17th, 5:30 to 7:15pm at the Downtown Library.  Animated by one hundred painters who created 65,000 individual frames, this is the story of a young man who visits the last hometown of Vincent van Gogh to deliver a letter and ends up investigating the artist's death. Rated PG-13: mature thematic elements, violence, sexual material, & smoking
Community Living Room with Delia Muñoz: lifelong local, oral historian for the Hispanic Community, Co-founder of Nuestras Raíces (Our Roots) organization. October 18th in the northwest corner of the Downtown Library from 6 to 7 PM.
Pride in Your Community. Coming Out: Discussion and Resources. Friday, October 20th from 4:30 to 5:30pm. Coming out is a process and a continuous journey, find out more about that process with Katherine Meyer. Ages 12+. Meeting at the Esat Flagstaff Community Library.
Critique Circles. Bring a sample of writing to be workshopped by other writers! All genres welcome! Samples should be 2000 words or less. Please bring at least 4 copies or be willing to read your sample aloud. 3rd Saturday of each month 3 to 4:30pm, at the Downtown Library.
Pride in Your Community. Name Change Clinic with One-N-Ten. Monday, October 23rd at 6:30pm. Are you a trans or gender nonconforming individual and need help legally changing your name? All ages. Meeting at the East Flagstaff Community Libary.

Senior Book Club at the Joe C Montoya Senior Center. October 23rd at 1pm. Special date this month! Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus.
LGBT+ Book Club. November 13th at 6:30pm. Ace by Angela Chen. East Library.
Southwest Reads Book Club. November 29th at 6pm in the Downtown Library Community Room. Finders Keepers by Craig Childs. Coming soon: January 24th Capirotada and March 27th Brave the Wild River.
Youth Events
Fall 2023 Storytimes. Baby Lap Time. September 12th to November 14th. Tuesdays at 9:15 am. Downtown Library Community Room. Enjoy songs, stories, fingerplays, knee bounces, rhymes, and more with your infant.
Fall 2023 Storytimes. Toddler Tales. September 12th to November 16th. Tuesdays at 10am and Thursdays at 9:15am. Downtown Library Community Room. Your toddler will delight in this special time for stories, songs, games, and more.
Fall 2023 Storytimes. Preschool Express. September 13th to November 16th. Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10am. Downtown Library Community Room. Surprises galore are in store when we get together for stories, songs, and games.
Fall 2023 Storytimes. Saturday Story Stop. Year-round at 10:30am. Downtown Library Community Room. Come to a fun-filled morning of storytime for ALL ages.
Family Storytime. Wednesdays September 13th to November 1st. 10:30 to 11:15AM. East Flagstaff Community Library.
LEGO Club. Flagstaff Downtown Library. Mondays 3:45-4:45 pm. September 11th, October 2nd and 16th, and November 6th. Ages 5+
Game Day. Play video games & tabletop games! Wednesdays September 20th, October 4th, October 18th, and November 1st from 2:30 to 4pm. Ages 8 to 17. East Flagstaff Community Library.
Bards & Nobles: Dungeons & Dragons for teens. Downtown Library Conference Room. September 20th, October 4th, October 18th, November 1st, and November 15th from 5 to 7:30pm. Ages 12 to 18. Registration required.
Technology Help
Free Technology Instruction and Resume Help. 30-minute,one-on-one instruction sessions available for help with introductory software, creating email accounts, downloading eBooks, résumé development, online job applications, and more.   Click here to see available dates. Registration is required for all sessions.
