Flagstaff Bike Month Bingo. Pick up your bingo card at the Downtown Library! May 1-30, 2024.
Take-and-Make Kit: Book page wreath. Shape recycled book pages into cones or rosettes to create a stunning wreath! Instructions and supplies are provided. Kits available at the Downtown Library Information Desk May 1st to 31st, or while supplies last.
Beginner Technology Classes. Join us for a beginners series to learn everything you need to know to use a personal computer or technology at the library. All technology is provided for computer-based classes. Seats are limited and registration is required. Resume Basics on Tuesday, April 2; Internet Basics on Tuesday, April 16; Email Basics on Tuesday, May 7; Cyber Security Basics on Tuesday, June 4; Computer Basics on Tuesday, March 5; Smart Phone Basics on Tuesday, March 12. Senior Coffee Hour. May 8th at 10am. Downtown Library Northwest Corner. Coffee and snacks provided! For older adults 55+. This month we will learn about Northern Arizona University’s Healthy Aging Lab from Dr. Eric Cerino!
Foreign Film: Dear Frankie. To spare her son from an unhappy reality, Lizzie secretly authors letters from his "father", detailing his seafaring adventures, and must hire a stranger to play the role when the father’s real ship comes in. May 11th from 2 to 4:15pm in the Downtown Library Community Room. Rated PG-13 for language and thematic elements.
Book Clubs
Banned Book Club: Animal Farm. Tuesday May 7th, from 6 to 7pm in the Downtown Library Community Room. “All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.” Join us to discuss the novel as well as the concepts of free speech and censorship as we encounter them today.
Thursday Night Book Club: The Man Who Could Move Clouds by Ingrid Rojas Contreras. May 9th at 6pm. June 13th at 6pm The Undocumented Americans. July 11th at 6pm Shutter. Pick up a copy of the book at the Downtown Information Desk. Meet in the downtown community room or online via zoom!

Technology Help
Free Technology Instruction and Resume Help. 30-minute,one-on-one instruction sessions available for help with introductory software, creating email accounts, downloading eBooks, résumé development, online job applications, and more. Click here to see available dates. Registration is required for all sessions.
