The Downtown & East Flagstaff Libraries will be CLOSED Easter Sunday, April 9th
Adult & All-Ages Events
Exploring the Art of Forgery. Tuesday, April 4th at 6pm. Downtown Library and on Zoom. We will look at some famous forgers and describe their techniques. We will discuss the challenge of producing a “good” fake, and how that relates to what goes into the creation of great art.
Game Night: presented by Vault. Board Games, Multi-player Card Games, Strategy Games, Social Games, and Much More! First Wednesdays from 5:00 to 7:30pm. April 5th is at the East Flagstaff Community Library.
Science Cafe: 2nd Saturday discussions for adults and families with local science leaders. Coffee provided! Saturday, April 8th at 10am, East Flagstaff Community Library. David S. F. Portree discusses Apollo's Child: Fifty Years Since Skylab, Our First Home in Space and the three missions that visited Skylab, including the first mission's connection to Flagstaff!
Bees, Butterflies, and Beyond: Caring for Pollinators in Northern Arizona. Celebrate Earth Day with Patrick Pynes, Ph.D. & the Northern Arizona Organic Beekeepers Association!  Learn about the importance of nurturing local bee habitats with flowering plants and discuss differences and similarities between the non-native honeybees and native pollinators. Downtown Library. Free Technology Instruction and Resume Help. 30-minute,one-on-one instruction sessions available for help with introductory software, creating email accounts, downloading eBooks, résumé development, online job applications, and more.
