Teen Volunteers Wanted! The Downtown and East Flagstaff Community Libraries are looking for teen volunteers to help with our Summer Reading Challenge, June 5th to July 21st. Join our Information Session on Zoom, Monday, May 15th  at 7pm. Meeting ID 867 3536 7592  Password: volunteer.  Click here to apply by May 17th.
Adult & All-Ages Events
Movie Tuesday: Blade Runner. A man is sent to hunt four genetically engineered humans called replicants. The replicants are stronger, faster and smarter than normal humans, feel no pain or remorse, and are ready to kill. May 16th afrom 5:30 to 7:45pm. Downtown Library. Rated R for language, violence, nudity, sexual content, and sexual assault.
CommunityLiving Room featuring Al White. May 17th at 6pm in the Downtown Library Northwest Corner. Al White is a local politician, disability advocate, and a life enthusiast!
Critique Circles: Bring a sample of your writing to be workshopped! All genres welcome! Samples should be 1000 words or less. Saturdays, May 20th and July 15th. 3pm to 4:30 pm. Downtown Library.
Adapting Books to Film. Local author Sharon Lynn will take us through a visual journey process of adapting movies from novels. Monday, May 22nd at 5:30pm. Downtown Library and on Zoom.
Youth Events
Crafty Corner. Express your creativity at the East Flagstaff Community Library! Tuesdays, March 28th to May 16th. 3:30 to 4:30pm. Ages 3 and up.
Family Storytime at the East Flagstaff Library. Wednesdays, March 29th to May 17th. 10:30 to 11:15 am.
LEGO Club at the East Flagstaff Library. Thursdays April 6th amd 20th and May 4th and 18th. 2:30 to 4:00pm. Ages 5 to 11.
Storytimes at the Downtown Library! Baby Laptime: March 28th to May 9th, Tuesdays at 9:15 am. Preschool Express: March 29th to May 11th, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10 am. Toddler Tales: March 28th to May 11th, Tuesdays at 10 am and Thursdays at 9:15 am. Saturday Story Stop: Year-round at 10:30 am.
Storytime on the Road. Join us for a storytime and games at a local park! Thursdays at 4:30.  Doney Park Dates: May 25th, June 15th and 29th.  Kachina Village Dates: June 1st and 22nd, and July  6th. Click for specific location details.

Southwest Reads Book Club: Killers of the Flower Moon by David Grann. Wednesday, May 24th at 6pm. Downtown Library Community Room.
Thursday Night Book Club: Outlawed by Anna North. May 11th at 6 PM, Downtown Library & on Zoom.

Technology Help
Free Technology Instruction and Resume Help. 30-minute,one-on-one instruction sessions available for help with introductory software, creating email accounts, downloading eBooks, résumé development, online job applications, and more.   Click here to see available dates. Registration is required for all sessions.
