The Downtown and East Flagstaff Community Libraries will be CLOSED Monday, May 29th in honor of Memorial Day.
Adult & All-Ages Events
Adapting Books to Film. Local author Sharon Lynn will take us through a visual journey process of adapting movies from novels. Monday, May 22nd at 5:30pm. Downtown Library and on Zoom.
Join Threaded Together to make Library Love Hearts! Saturday, May 27th, 10am to 1pm. Meet us on the Downtown Library lawn to crochet, knit, or sew a small heart to attach to the beautiful new fencing in front of the library!
Making a Bikeable, Walkable Flagstaff for All! Join Adam Shimoni to discuss the past, present, and future of biking and walking infrastructure in Flagstaff. Plus, hear about how you can get involved in making Flagstaff a more walkable and bikeable community. Thursday, June 1st at 5:30pm. Downtown Library and on Zoom and FBO Facebook
Summer Reading Challenge starts June 5th!

Storytime on the Road. Join us for a storytime and games at a local park! Thursdays at 4:30.  Doney Park Dates: May 25th, June 15th and 29th.  Kachina Village Dates: June 1st and 22nd, and July  6th. Click for specific location details.
Storytimes at the Downtown Library! Baby Laptime: March 28th to May 9th, Tuesdays at 9:15 am. Preschool Express: March 29th to May 11th, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10 am. Toddler Tales: March 28th to May 11th, Tuesdays at 10 am and Thursdays at 9:15 am. Saturday Story Stop: Year-round at 10:30 am.
Book Clubs
Southwest Reads Book Club: Killers of the Flower Moon by David Grann. Wednesday, May 24th at 6pm. Downtown Library Community Room.
Thursday Night Book Club: Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi. June 8th at 6 PM, Downtown Library & on Zoom.
Senior Book Club at the Joe C Montoya Senior Center. June 19th at 1pm. Harlem Shuffle by Colson Whitehead.
Banned Book Club: To Kill a Mockingbird. Tuesday June 27th at 6pm. Downtown Library. Racism? Rape? "White Saviors"?  Join us to discuss the novel as well as the concepts of free speech and censorship as we encounter them today.
LGBT+ Book Club. The Raven Tower by Ann Leckie. July 10th at 6:30PM.
Technology Help
Free Technology Instruction and Resume Help. 30-minute,one-on-one instruction sessions available for help with introductory software, creating email accounts, downloading eBooks, résumé development, online job applications, and more.   Click here to see available dates. Registration is required for all sessions.
