Hispanics are divided about their place in America after Trump’s election. A growing share says the situation of U.S. Latinos is worsening, and about half worry they or someone they know might be deported.

A total of 54 percent are confident about their place in America, while 41 percent have serious concerns about their place in America, according to a survey of Hispanic adults conducted Dec. 7, 2016 and Jan. 15, 2017.
