United States Congressman Tom O'Halleran, Representing the first District of Arizona

Dear Friend,

Nothing is more important to me that empowering Arizona communities, businesses, and families to succeed. That includes investing in our technological and physical infrastructure that gives everyone access to national and international markets.

For centuries, people have used the latest technology to connect with their neighbors, build thriving businesses, and continue innovating. Over the decades, Congress has passed legislation to ensure these new communication technologies are available to the American people and can contribute to our growing economy. Unfortunately, most of these legislative solutions are outdated and fail to address the realities of 21st century technology.

I am calling on Congressional leaders to take action to update the decades old Communications Act to include consumer protections on the internet, preserve net neutrality, and ensure the United States can continue to be a world leader in copmpetitiveness and innovation online. We must also prevent consumers from seeing their internet access throttled by service providers or their privacy threatened.

I want to hear your thoughts on net neutrality. Take a moment to fill out the survey in this email.

Sincerely,

Tom O’Halleran
