Although the roll-off dumpsters will be placed in the neighborhoods listed above, they are open to all City residents for pine needle disposal. Only pine needles should be placed in the dumpsters. Bulk trash, larger green waste, and commercial waste should not be placed in the dumpsters. Residents are asked to report illegal dumping or overfilled dumpsters immediately by calling the Fire Department at 928-326-4419.
The Flagstaff Fire Department recommends that residents remove excess pine needles from their yards and areas near their homes to lower the risk of wildfire danger. Residents are also encouraged to review the Wildland Fire Action Guide to prepare for the coming summer months at Flagstaff.az.gov/WildfireAction.
