Elizabeth “Liz” C. Archuleta County Park

The Multicultural County Park Sculpture Exhibition officially opens next week and brings together powerful cultural expressions through large-scale sculptures by artists Olivero Balcells, Isaac Caruso, Joe Ray, Adrian Wall, and Lance Yazzie. Artworks reflect personal and shared histories and add new layers of meaning to a park rich in visual storytelling and community spirit. The exhibition is on view through Mar. 15, 2026, and is presented in partnership with Coconino County.

Highlight Indigenous creativity and craftsmanship! Mountain-Town Market seeks Indigenous artists and artisans to sell their artwork at the upcoming Contemporary Indigenous Artisan Market. This event is programmed in conjunction with The Future is Indigenous: Messages to the Seventh Generation, an exhibition on view at Coconino Center for the Arts. Visitors will enjoy shopping for handmade goods, jewelry, textiles, prints, and more from talented artists and makers.

Call to Artists: State of New Mexico
Large-Scale Purchase Initiative
|
|
The New Mexico Art in Public Places Program seeks existing artwork (of any medium or size) with an all-inclusive price between $50,000-$200,000 for display in publicly accessible buildings throughout the state. The Large-Scale Purchase Initiative will diversify the state’s public art collection by purchasing artwork from artists at all stages of their career. All media in all genres, suitable for both interior and exterior display, will be considered. Artwork must be durable, permanent, low-maintenance, and in compliance with ADA guidelines upon installation. This project is open to artists who reside in, and galleries that are located in, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, and Utah.
