Fostering inclusion for all students in STEM fields

NAU’s Institute for Human Development is a regional leader in a new national alliance aimed at ensuring students with disabilities have access to and support in STEM fields. Associate professor Ronda Jenson is leading a workforce development project encouraging these students to engage in peer-to-peer mentoring.

After teaching and conducting research throughout the world, Prust is now the chair of and associate clinical professor in the Department of Education at NAU Yuma, where he coordinates grant programs to develop teachers in Yuma County. Learn more about his bucket list, his love of gardening and a recent opportunity to teach Portuguese.

Women’s soccer named Big Sky champions!

For the first time in NAU program history, the NAU Women’s Soccer Team claimed both the regular season championship as well as the Big Sky tournament championship after outscoring the Idaho Vandals in a 4-3 penalty kick to win the game. “This team never gave up, they kept fighting and kept believing and they turned it around. The turnaround is unbelievable and I’m so thankful and so happy to be a part of this team,” associate head coach Alan Berrios said.
