Attend Skate at the Station City Council ribbon cutting Dec. 8

FLAGSTAFF — Attend the Flagstaff City Council Skate at the Station ribbon cutting event on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. located at the Flagstaff Visitor Center (One E. Route 66.)

Flagstaff’s newest holiday attraction, Skate at the Station, is in the heart of historic downtown and will open to the public this season for all to enjoy a new holiday tradition. The free Skate at the Station synthetic skating rink schedule is from December 9, 2017 through January 1, 2018.

Delight in soaking up the holiday spirit as people swirl around enjoying their visit to Arizona’s Winter Wonderland while creating holiday memories. After skating with your family and friends, warm up with a hot beverage served by one of our local baristas, then complete your holiday shopping in historic downtown and top it off by picking a spot to dine in at one of the many one-of-a-kind Flagstaff restaurants. Remember to bundle up and grab the mittens for this new outdoor skating experience in the heart of downtown Flagstaff.

Access to the skating rink and skates are free and you are welcome to bring your own skates too. The skating rink will be operated by the Shadows Foundation – a Flagstaff non-profit organization that is dedicated to helping those affected by life threatening diseases.
