FLAGSTAFF — The City of Flagstaff and Coconino County invite residents to participate in Scenario Choosing Open Houses for the Flagstaff Regional Plan 2045. These open houses are centered around how the region should approach growth to address uncertainties and opportunities that may lie ahead. This is a once-a-decade opportunity to shape the future of our community.
The open houses will be available in both an online and in-person format. To participate in the open house virtually, visit bit.ly/scenariochoosing from Nov. 16, 2023 to Jan. 19, 2024. Open House participants will review four distinct growth scenarios, weigh in on the strengths and tradeoffs of each scenario, and ultimately select a preferred growth scenario for the Flagstaff region. These scenarios have been developed based a combination of community feedback and computer modeling which account for existing plans and policy directions.
Your input matters. The selected growth scenario will directly inform the development of goals and policies for the Flagstaff Regional Plan 2045, setting the course for the next decade.
