City of Flagstaff to host open houses through 29 on Prop. 406

City of FlagstaffFLAGSTAFF — The City of Flagstaff will host an open house to provide information about Proposition 406, a proposed sales tax increase to address city road repairs and street safety, on Wednesday, Oct. 1, at Killip Elementary School, 2300 E.  6th Ave., Flagstaff.

Residents are welcome to stop by any time between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. to learn about Prop. 406 on the November ballot. City staff will be available to answer questions and provide educational information to interested voters.

Kids are welcome and light refreshments will be served.

This is the first of five City open houses on Prop. 406. Other opportunities for interested voters:

  • Thursday, October 9 at Sinagua Middle School, 3950 E. Butler Ave.
  • Monday, October 13 at Sechrist Elementary School, 2230 N. Fort Valley Rd.
  • Thursday, October 23 at Thomas Elementary School, 3330 E. Lockett Dr.
  • Wednesday, October 29 at Mountain School, 311 W. Cattle Drive Tr.

All open houses will run from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
