Coconino County, Flagstaff facilities closed on Veteran’s Day 2022

Coconino County’s Administrative Offices at 219 E. Cherry Ave. and the County Attorney’s Office at 110 E. Cherry Ave. will be closed in observance of the Veterans Day holiday Friday, November 11, 2022. Offices will return to regular operation on Monday.

The County Health and Human Services offices at 2625 King St. will also be closed. Animal Management will have an officer available from 7 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Contact the CCHHS Animal Management office at (928) 679-8756 to leave a message and an officer will return the call.

The Flagstaff City-Coconino County Public Library at 300 W. Aspen Ave will be closed.

The Sheriff’s dispatch, patrol, and detention facility will operate normally. Dial 9-1-1 for emergencies, for non-emergencies dial (928) 679-8756.

Many of Coconino County’s buildings and facilities, including the County Courthouse in downtown Flagstaff, will remain illuminated in green lights through Sunday, November 13, in partnership with Operation Green Light for Veterans. This nationwide campaign is organized by the National Association of Counties (NACo) as way to draw attention to Veterans’ services locally.

Flagstaff facilities closed on Veteran’s Day 2022

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz – Flagstaff City Hall offices at 211 W. Aspen Ave. will be closed on November 11, 2022 in observance of Veterans Day. City Hall will reopen November 14.

City of Flagstaff facilities that are also closed on November 11 include

  • East Flagstaff Community Library (3000 N. Fourth St.)
  • Flagstaff City-Coconino County Public Library (300 W. Aspen Ave.)
  • Hal Jensen Recreation Center (2403 N. Izabel St.)
  • Joe C. Montoya Community and Senior Center (245 N. Thorpe Rd.)

The Jay Lively Activity Center (1650 N Turquoise Dr) and the Flagstaff Aquaplex (1702 N Fourth St) will be open during regular hours and will run regular programming. Trash and recycling collection, along with the landfill, will be on a regular schedule.
