Library Closures
The Downtown and East Flagstaff Community Libraries will be CLOSED Friday, Nov. 10th & Saturday, Nov. 11th in honor of Veterans Day.
Adult & All-Ages Events
International Games Week. Family Game Night 2023. Set aside your high-tech gadgets and come play with us. Classic and Modern Board Games. Tuesday, November 7th from 5 to 7pm. All ages. Bring your family and friends! Downtown Library Community Room.
Senior Coffee Hour. November 8th at 10am. Downtown Library Northwest Corner. Coffee and snacks provided! For older adults 55+. Join library staff to learn more about library services and volunteer opportunities!
Author Talk: Side by Side in Eternity: The Lives Behind Adjacent American Military Graves by J. Eric Smith. Every gravestone tells a story, including close proximity burials of seemingly unrelated figures. Smith will explore how he researched side-by-side military burials, then read an excerpt and show images from his book. Wednesday, Nov. 8th, 6pm-7pm. Downtown Library Community Room
Climate Conversations: Food sovereignty. Cultivating community resilience. Part of the Climate Resilience Project, Climate Conversations are expert-facilitated discussions on the science, news, and feelings around a climate topic. Tuesday, November 14 at 6PM. East Flagstaff Library Community Room.

LGBT+ Book Club. November 13th at 6:30pm. Ace by Angela Chen. East Library.
Senior Book Club at the Joe C Montoya Senior Center. 3rd Monday of every month. November 20th at 1pm. The Measure by Nikki Erlick.
Southwest Reads Book Club. November 29th at 6pm in the Downtown Library Community Room. Finders Keepers by Craig Childs. Coming soon: January 24th Capirotada and March 27th Brave the Wild River.
Youth Events
Fall 2023 Storytimes. Baby Lap Time. September 12th to November 14th. Tuesdays at 9:15 am. Downtown Library Community Room. Enjoy songs, stories, fingerplays, knee bounces, rhymes, and more with your infant.
Fall 2023 Storytimes. Toddler Tales. September 12th to November 16th. Tuesdays at 10am and Thursdays at 9:15am. Downtown Library Community Room. Your toddler will delight in this special time for stories, songs, games, and more.
Fall 2023 Storytimes. Preschool Express. September 13th to November 16th. Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10am. Downtown Library Community Room. Surprises galore are in store when we get together for stories, songs, and games.
LEGO Club. Flagstaff Downtown Library. Mondays 3:45-4:45 pm. September 11th, October 2nd and 16th, and November 6th. Ages 5+
Creation Station. Stories & crafts. Fall 2023 Wednesdays September 13th and 27th, October 11th and 25th, and November 8th at 3:30pm. Ages 3 & up.
Technology Help
Free Technology Instruction and Resume Help. 30-minute,one-on-one instruction sessions available for help with introductory software, creating email accounts, downloading eBooks, résumé development, online job applications, and more.
