Flagstaff Youth Riders (FLYRS) — Spring 2024 Season Delayed

Spring Season Delayed One Week

It looks like winter will not let up in Flagstaff. With another storm set for this weekend, we are going to push back our season start date to the week of April 15th. We want to make sure our trails are ready and avoid causing any damage to them. This extension will change the last week of the season to May 27-31 and will not allow for any makeup practices. We will do our best to get creative with practices if necessary so we don’t cancel any practices throughout the season.

There are still the following junior groups with open spots:

  • Monday 3-4 years, 5-6 years, 1st-2nd grade, 3rd-5th grade intermediate, 4th -5th grade advanced go fast
  • Tuesday 3-4 years, 1st-2nd grade, 3rd-5th grade
  • Wednesday 2nd-3rd grade
  • Thursday 1st-2nd grade, 3rd-5th grade advanced skills and 4th-5th grade girls only

Upper groups with open spots:

  • Monday middle school go fast and monday high school enduro
  • Tuesday middle school boys
  • Wednesday middle school enduro
  • Thursday high school and thursday middle school girls

Our refund policy states that you can receive a full refund up to 10 days prior to the season start date which has now been extended one week for spring. Any registration changes should be submitted to tyler@flyrsaz.com.

Support FLYRS for AZ Gives Day

Each year we are faced with both new and old challenges. We are hit with everything from snow to fires and forest closures impacting our seasons along with continuously increasing expenses. Many communities don’t have a program like FLYRS and not too long ago Flagstaff didn’t either. Just like the youth in our programs, FLYRS staff, board, and coaches continually practice resiliency to keep our programs running so we can get kiddos outside and off their screens.

Approximately 40% of our budget comes from donors, sponsors, and fundraisers to offer free programming and keep prices affordable for our other programs.

We need your help in supporting FLYRS! Please support us with a donation this AZ Gives Day to reach our goal of $1,000. All donations on April 1-2 will be matched up to $500.
