Friends of Flagstaff’s Future — Action Alert: Please Attend Regional Plan Scenario Choosing Workshop on Dec. 2

Important: Please Attend Regional Plan 2045 Scenario Choosing Workshop Open House this Saturday, Dec. 2, 9:00-11:00 am at Flagstaff High School Commons

How do you want Flagstaff and the regionl around Flagstaff to grow through the year 2045? This is your chance to provide your input on the four land use scenarios that have been developed from previous community input. Your input on Saturday will help determine the scenarios’ potential to be included in our City’s Regional Plan and

our County’s Comprehensive Plan.

This is one of only two in-person open houses taking place about this important choice and is your chance to

ask questions and provide input directly to City and County planners.

If you’re unable to attend Saturday’s Open House Workshop, you can provide your input through the Scenario Choosing Online Open House which is available through January 19, 2024 here.

In-person and virtual open houses provide the community an important opportunity to shape the future of our region. Specifically, participants will review four distinct land use scenarios, consider which scenarios align best with their own growth preferences for the region, and ultimately choose a preferred scenario model. The selected scenario will directly inform the development of goals and policies for the Flagstaff Regional Plan 2045, setting the course for the Flagstaff region’s future.

The second in-person Open House Workshop is scheduled for Tuesday evening, January 16th, 6:30-8:30 at Cromer Elementary.

More information about the Regional Plan 2045 revision process can be found here: https://flagstaff-regional-plan-2045-flagstaff.hub.arcgis.com/

Thank you for providing your input to help shape how our City and region grows into the future!
