Coconino Hispanic Advisory Council to meet in Williams on Sept. 16

WILLIAMS — The Coconino Hispanic Advisory Council (CHAC) will meet from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16 at the Williams Senior Center, 850 W. Grant Ave., Williams.

The Hispanic Heritage Month Information Update will provide details on the impact on local Hispanic community of new voting system, federal U.S. Census, DACA changes and other issues

FLAGSTAFF — The Coconino County Board of Supervisors issued “Celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month Proclamation” at its regular board meeting on Sept. 8.

Members of the Coconino Hispanic Advisory Council (CHAC) took turns reading the proclamation.
