Spring Registration has opened for Flagstaff Youth Riders (FLYRS)

Spring Registration Opens Wednesday & Thursday

Spring registration opens tomorrow morning at 6:00am for some groups.

The spring schedule is posted on our website. The registration date is listed next to each group on the schedule so please double check your correct registration date. The spring season registration will be on February 21 and 22. We will be staggering the registration to reduce the congestion of many people logging in at once. Registration for the Upper Level groups (Middle and High School), push bike, 4-5 years, and 5-6 year old groups will be at 6:00am on February 21. The registration for 1st-5th grade groups will be on February 22 at 6:00am. Registration on February 21st will be locked for all groups with a registration date of February 22nd so please only log in on the date of your group.

The spring waitlist will be posted on the registration page at 6:30am on February 22.

New Groups This Spring

  • Monday Middle School Go fast
  • More Enduro capacity
  • Monday & Tuesday 3-4 yr old pedal
  • All Push Bike groups have an updated description

Be sure to read the group descriptions to know which group is best for your child and ensure they meet the proper requirements. Our programs are based on a building block learning approach so there are certain skills that need to be met to ensure the best experience for everyone. If you have any questions regarding the best group to register your child for, contact FLYRS Program Director Stephanie Adams at stephanie@flyrsaz.com.

Check our registration info to get prepared for registration day. Here’s some helpful tips.

  • The season is 7 weeks long and each week your group meets at a different trailhead location. Keep this in mind if you register siblings on the same day and being able to get them to 2 different trailheads.
  • Groups fill up quickly which makes it difficult (or not possible) to change groups after registration so please make sure to register for the correct group
  • If the group says its FULL shortly after registration opens then that means it is FULL and you should sign up on the waitlist
  • Only use the waitlist for the specific group that you would like to be registered for
  • Our refund policy states that you can receive a full refund up to 10 days prior to the season start date. Any registration changes should be submitted to tyler@flyrsaz.com.

Partner With FLYRS for 2024

We are looking for sponsors to partner with in 2024. Do you or your business want to join us in developing resilient, caring, and growth oriented youth through mountain biking? Sponsors help support our scholarship offerings to ensure we can eliminate barriers and create more access to mountain biking. Sponsors will gain exposure through all of our planned events and increased programming. Last year we were able to provide over $41,000 in scholarships thanks to our generous sponsors and donors.

Give Roller Trainers to FLYRS Wish List

We are currently looking for bike roller trainers to support our RAD Team training this winter. If you have a set of rollers that’s in good condition and not getting used any longer it will go a long ways to support our team as they train to compete on a national level this year. Please reach out to tyler@flyrsaz.com if you would like to donate a trainer to FLYRS.

Bike Swap April 20 at Puente De Hózhó

Mark your calenders for our second annual bike swap fundraiser. We plan to have up to 100 bikes this year at the swap so be sure to come check it out and/or plan to sell your bike and support FLYRS. This is a fundraiser where 20% of the proceeds go to help fund scholarships. There will be custom FLYRS gear for sale along with some local bike shops selling bike gear so you won’t want to miss it.
