TheatriKids is bringing William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream to the stage, and Flagstaff’s rising young performers are ready to take on this classic comedy!

Follow four young couples into an enchanted forest where nothing goes according to plan. Fairy king Oberon and queen Titania are locked in a feud, the mischievous Puck is handing out love potions with questionable aim, and one unlucky actor, Nick Bottom, gets a very unexpected makeover. Before long, romantic mix-ups multiply and the forest turns into a playground of magic and mayhem.

Packed with mistaken identities, clever wordplay, and the timeless wit of the Bard, it’s a delightful adventure and a perfect first taste of Shakespeare for young audiences.

Our talented young cast has been hard at work bringing this story to life, from mastering Shakespeare’s language to finding the comedy in every scene. Their energy and creativity make this a production you won’t want to miss.

Come cheer on these incredible young performers! The show runs October 30 through November 8 at the Doris Harper-White Playhouse.. Grab your seats today for a theatrical outing the whole family will love!

Step into the holiday classic A Christmas Carol, a co-production with FlagShakes and Theatrikos Theatre Company! Auditions are complete, rehearsals are underway, and with the holidays just around the corner, we can’t wait to share this brand-new adaptation of Charles Dickens’ beloved tale, presented exclusively at the historic Doris Harper-White Playhouse.

Follow Ebenezer Scrooge, a bitter old miser whose cold heart is put to the test one fateful Christmas Eve. Visited by the ghost of his former partner, Jacob Marley, and three spirits of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come, Scrooge is taken on a journey through his own life that may just change him forever.

FlagShakes has built a reputation for bold, actor-driven takes on literary classics, and this adaptation is no exception. We’ve long admired their work, and getting to collaborate on a show as beloved as A Christmas Carol is a gift we couldn’t be more excited to unwrap.

Our cast is hard at work bringing this timeless tale to the stage, and we’re counting down the days until we can kick off the season with you, with plenty of warmth, joy, and just a touch of ghostly frights along the way.

A Christmas Carol runs November 19 through December 20 at the Doris Harper-White Playhouse. Mark your calendars and start planning your holiday outing now!

These past few months haven’t been easy for Theatrikos, but they’ve shown us something we’ll never take for granted: this community shows up. Whether you’ve bought a ticket, volunteered your time, or simply sent a kind word our way, your belief in local theatre has carried us through.

Now we want to sit down with you face to face. This fall, we’re hosting a community forum to look back honestly at what happened, explain where the company stands today, and share the plans we’ve been building for the years ahead. You’ll also get an early look at what’s coming to our stage in 2027 and beyond.

Bring your questions, your ideas, and your concerns. We want to hear them all. Open, honest conversation is how we’ll build a stronger Theatrikos, and we can’t do it without the people who make this theatre what it is.

The forum takes place Saturday, November 21, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at at the Doris Harper-White Playhouse. We hope you’ll join us as we start this next chapter, and thank you for being part of the Theatrikos family.
