The questions are as follows:

Expanding youth opportunity – including helping teens discover their leadership potential – is one of the core missions of United Way of Northern Arizona. It’s why UWNA launched Youth Experiencing Success (YES!) and held its first Leadership Summit with more than 100 students earlier this year.
It’s one thing to help a teen embrace the idea that they could be a leader; it’s something else entirely to support them once they’ve decided to step up and take on new responsibilities.

In July, Flagstaff voters will narrow the field of City Council candidates in a Primary Election on July 21.
To assist voters in choosing candidates, F3 developed a Questionnaire for the City Council candidates. We are pleased that all candidates provided answers to our questions.

Every day at Sedona Arts Center, we see what happens when people come together around creativity.
Artists find new opportunities. Students discover new skills. Community members connect through exhibitions, events, and shared experiences that remind us why the arts matter.
None of this happens by accident.
Behind every workshop, exhibition, artist program, and community event is the support of people who believe creativity should continue to thrive in Sedona.
As we approach the end of our fiscal year on June 30, we are asking our community to help us finish strong and enter the year ahead ready to continue this important work.
Your gift supports the foundation that makes everything else possible — the people, programs, and spaces that allow creativity to grow.

GRAND CANYON, Ariz. – Grand Canyon National Park will
lift trail closures related to the Transcanyon Waterline Replacement Project at 7 a.m. Friday, June 26, five days ahead of

The closures are being lifted following the completion of reconstruction work on the River Trail, which was damaged by a rockfall during work associated with the Transcanyon Waterline Replacement Project. The rockfall required additional geologic hazard assessments, new design features and engineering work before the trail could be rebuilt and this portion of the project could be completed.

We had an amazing turnout at the grand opening of our 9th clinic in AZ! We want to thank the Peoria Chamber of Commerce for a warm welcome, as well as everyone who attended the festivities. For an organization like ECoNA, having a strong Executive Committee with a wide breadth of experience and a passion for our region’s economic future is absolutely critical.
Which is why I’m so honored to announce our recently elected Executive Committee. Its members come from both the public and private sectors, and together they have decades of experience in health care, education, tourism, and community development.

Can you find the paradine plains cactus in the above photo? Don’t feel bad if not—it’s small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, but it plays an important role in the Four Corners region’s ecosystem. In the wake of the White Sage Fire, NAU ecologist Clare Aslan is measuring the succulent’s resilience over a three-year period. Her findings could help ecologists and policymakers everywhere understand when to do boots-on-the-ground restoration work and when to let nature recover on its own.
